JS32-8Q Dinky is one of four eight-stringers introduced by Jackson at 2013 NAMM show. It is among the affordable ones and sports the classic Dinky design. Within the JS series, it is one of three updates and the only eight-stringer. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of basswood. In JS series basswood replaces the alder and mahogany, which are used for the more exclusive models. In order to make this one more attractive, Jackson throws in the quilted maple top. Entire body is finished in high gloss. Also, it features contoured back. Hardtail bridge is featured within the bridge section and it has eight adjustable saddles. Strings run through the body on this and all other JS series updates. Pickups are made by Jackson and installed in H/H pattern. Their controls unit is small and contains only necessary: master volume, master tone and three-position blade switch. Neck is made of maple on this model and it features bolt-on joint. It is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Jumbo frets, piranha inlays and 16" radius complete the fingerboard. Jackson JS32-8Q Dinky features die-cast tuners on the headstock.
