S series is one of the oldest and most popular lines in Ibanez catalog. It owes it`s longevity to constant improvements and timeless design. Also, superb build quality and signature tone count among the key strengths of this series. For 2014, Ibanez is refreshing the S range lineup with a multitude of novelties. S5570Q replaces the popular S5470Q in the S Prestige series. S Prestige is the top tier of the S range and it deals with the best of the best among the S models. This gorgeous double-cut comes with six strings, standard 25-1/2" scale, passive electronics and 24-fret fingerboard. Body of this amazing six-stringer is solid, carved and made of mahogany base with quilted maple top (along with alder/maple, this is the most popular combo for electric guitars). On the top, Lo Pro Edge locking tremolo bridge is installed. Bridge/middle/neck combo of pickups features HGD2 humbucker in the bridge, ST2 single-coil in the middle and HGD1 humbucker in the neck position. Five-piece maple/walnut neck is topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
