S series is the more elegant variant of the iconic RG series. Both ranges were introduced more than 25 years ago and owe their longevity to constant improvements and superb build and tone quality. Rock, hard rock, punk and metal guitarists around the world choose S series models because of their simple elegance and supreme playability. For 2014, Ibanez updates the S range with a multitude of novelties and S5570 is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany (this one is entirely made of mahogany and features no top wood cover). Standard five-piece maple/walnut neck is attached to it with a classic bolt-on neck joint. On the top, Ibanez installs the modern Lo Pro Edge tremolo bridge and a set of passive pickups in H/S/H configuration. Controls unit includes master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. Five-piece neck rocks the standard Wizard contour in the back and is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
