RG`s RGA subdivision has proven very inspirational for Ibanez designers and luthiers. RG construction, carved tops, minimalist styling and Iron Label electronics have proven to be a killer combination. RGAIX6FM is one of two RGA models which have been adopted into the Iron Label alliance. This is a six-string guitar (RGAIX7FM is, quite obviously, its seven-stringed counterpart) with full-length 25-1/2" scale, passive electronics and fixed bridge system. Currently, there`s only one color option available for this model - the mesmerizing Transparent Gray Flat. It is contrasted with white binding around the body, fingerboard and headstock. RGAIX6FM has a solid and double-cut body with a bolt-on neck and super deep cutaways. Also, it features a contoured neck joint to allow full fingerboard access. Mahogany back and flamed maple top comprise the body, while the three pieces of maple and bubinga make up the Wizard-shaped neck. Bound ebony fingerboard tops the neck. It features 24 jumbo frets, 1.69" nut and 15.75" radius. DiMarzio`s Fusion Edge humbuckers fill the bridge and neck positions, bringing a versatile, well balanced tone. They`re perfect for players who incorporate clean and melodic sections into their style. Master volume, coil-splitting mini-switch and three-position pickup selector make up the controls. Gotoh tuners and Gibraltar bridge keep this elegant shred machine in perfect tune.
