RG Prestige is the top line of the RG range, and in 2015 it is expanding into the 9-string territory. RG90BKP is one of two Prestige nine-strings introduced for the summer 2015. It comes with a solid and flat basswood body, and a five-piece maple/wenge neck. Pickups installed on the top are Bare Knuckle Canine 9 humbuckers. These behemoths feature passive/alnico construction, and a basic controls unit (master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch). Combined with the rather standard tonewood selection, these pickups offer a huge tonal variety. Nine-string version of the acclaimed Gibraltar II bridge is installed behind the pickups, while the five-piece neck rocks the adjusted version of the Wizard II profile. Almost mandatory 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is featured on this model as well.
