The brand new Genesis Collection, after a 30-year journey, takes the legendary RG series back to its roots. Design, construction features, as well as hardware and electronics, are carefully selected to re-evoke that pioneering spirit the original RGs had in the late 1980s. The initial (2018) lineup consists of three models, of which RG570 is one. It comes in Jewel Blue and Black (both with glossy finish, black hardware, black plastics). Main construction features (for both options) include a solid and double-cut RG body (made of basswood, no pickguard, no binding), a 5-piece maple/walnut neck (Super Wizard shape, classic four-bolt joint), a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (jumbo frets, 1.69" locking nut, 25.5" scale), an Edge locking tremolo bridge, custom pickups unit, and die-cast tuning machines.
