Paul Gilbert is a man who needs no introduction in guitar circles. The inventor of "The Drill" and one of the brightest stars in the Shredder constellation is also one of the most important Ibanez signature guitarists.
Paul`s PGM80P focuses on simplicity, tremendous tone and famous Ibanez playability. It rocks a double-cut body with mock "f" holes and flat top (an RG body, obviously) and a bolt-on neck with custom PGM contour. The body is made of ash and features no binding and no pickguard. The five-piece maple/walnut neck, on the other hand, sports a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on its top. Combination of three passive DiMarzio pickups spices up the specs list, delivering a staggering array of blues, rock and shred tones. Simple Wilkinson string-through trem bridge and closed-gear tuners complete this speed demon.
