FR series is Ibanez`s take on the classic Telecaster concept. It currently features two divisions, exclusive FR Prestige and standard FR. FR6UCS is the only FR update released at 2017 NAMM, it belongs to FR Prestige. Black Flat (with white binding and Cosmo Black hardware) is the only available color option thus far. FR6UCS comes in with a solid and flat mahogany body and bolt-on maple/walnut neck (a pretty standard combination for Ibanez axes in recent years). The neck is bolted to the body and sports the fast Wizard profile. 24-fret ebony fingerboard (with 1.69" nut, 16" radius and stainless steel jumbo frets) tops the neck. String-through Tight-End bridge, Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups and Gotoh (MG-T) locking tuners complete this bad boy.
