Godin Guitars are among the top manufacturers for full four decades and they show no signs of fatigue. Their catalog is blooming with novelties for 2012 with Session, Core and many other new models. They were all unveiled at the NAMM Show this January in Anaheim, Ca. Session Plus Left Handed kicks off with a solid, double cutaway basswood body in combination with a rock maple neck. The body top is flat and features no binding. The pickguard featured on this model is made of plastic, and can be either black or white, depending on the color option. All color options available on this lefty come with gloss finish. The bridge is, as on it`s right handed sibling, a Godin True Lock tremolo with string-through-body construction and chrome plating. The pickup combo consists of bridge humbucker, middle single and neck single coil. All of them are made by Godin. Controls deartment is made up of master volume, master tone, mini switch for splitting the humbucker and High Definition Revoicer button. The neck is made of rock maple with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 22 frets, dot position inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" nut width. 25-1/2" scale and chrome hardware complete the list of specs.
