Les Paul Supreme Florentine is one of seven limited edition models Gibson is releasing in the late 2014. It is based on the mixture of the features which made the original LP models famous and the appointments of the 2015 LP lineup. Les Paul Supreme Florentine kicks off with a solid and single-cut mahogany body with a modern weight relief system. On it`s top, Gibson USA installs a gorgeous figured maple top made of two pieces of bookmatched flamed maple. Instead of the standard cutaway, Gibson has opted for an ES-styled Florentine cutaway, which adds to already supremely elegant appearance of this outstanding LP. The only color option is the mesmerizing Caribbean Blue with nitrocellulose finish, white/black/white binding and gold-plated hardware. Standard tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge unit is replaced by a vintage tune-o-matic/Bigsby vibrato combo. In the front, Gibson installs 498T/490R pack of pickups with a traditional controls unit. Mahogany neck is attached to the body via the standard mortise & tenon joint and covered with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Grover`s Keystone tuning machines are featured on the headstock of this gorgeous limited edition guitar. The MSRP for Les Paul Supreme Florentine is set at $5,999.
