Les Paul`60s Tribute 2016 HP, though being a `60s tribute model, features some seriously modified and modernized appointments.
First off, the `60s Tribute 2016 HP model has a single-cut LP body made of mahogany back (modern weight relief system is just the first of many modern features) and plain maple top (top features no binding due to the lower price). The neck on this model is made of a single piece of mahogany (body is made of multiple pieces glued together) and is attached to the body via the mortise & tenon joint (neck heel is contoured to allow the players maximum reach). It features the slim taper profile in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (12" radius, trapezoid inlays and 1.745" zero fret nut).
Pair of hot and dirty P90 pickups occupies the pickups section. These bad boys bring back all the raw power of `60s classic rock, while at the same time being able to handle many of the more modern forms of rock music with exceptional ease. Two-piece bridge and G Force tuners complete the specs list. $1,249 might seem like a lot of money, and it is. But, for a guitar like this, it is a bargain.
