Les Paul Special was first introduced into the catalog back in 1955, as a middle model between the Standard and Junior. It had two pickups, set in neck and flat body made without a top wood cover. It quickly diversified into two models, a single-cut and a double-cut. 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cutaway VOS is a reissue of the 1960 model with double-cut body. Mahogany is the only tone wood used for this flat-top body. TV Yellow is the only color option available and it comes with high gloss finish. Set in neck is also made of mahogany. It rocks the famous '60s slim taper contour in the back. Fingerboard on this one is standard, it`s made of rosewood and it has 22 frets with dot inlays. Twin P-90s pickups are featured as well.
