B.B. King Lucille Gem Series Ruby is one of the several Lucille Gem models made by Gibson Custom to honor Mr. King. this Lucille is named Ruby for it`s Ruby Red color scheme with high gloss finish. Body of this one is made of mahogany. It`s solid, double cut and bound in creme binding. Top is beautifully carved and decorated with a tortoise shell pickguard. On the top, Lucille Gem Series Ruby features classic bridge combo, which consists of tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar in the back. Both are plated in gold, as is the rest of the hardware. 490R humbucker is in the neck and 498T in the bridge position. Set maple neck has C contour and it`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
