AR series is a sub-series of the Artist range. Artist range predominantly rocks the single-cut Les Paul-like guitars, but several sub-series deal with the double-cut LP styled axes. AR Prestige is one of them. For 2014, it`s been reinforced with several new models and AR2619 is one of them. it comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. In Gibson`s tradition and in traditions of brands which draw their inspiration from Gibson, mahogany and flamed maple are comprise the vast majority of bodies of solid axes. AR2619 comes with a 24-3/4" scale, 22-fret fingerboard, passive electronics and set in neck. On the top, Ibanez installs the standard Gibraltar bridge with a triangular tailpiece in the back. Super 80 Flying Fingers passive humbuckers are installed in the front. Separate volume and tone knobs, separate mini-switches and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Additional mini-switches add fantastic tonal possibilities. Maple neck is set in and features the series standard AR contour in the back. On it`s top, Ibanez installs also standard 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
