Fret King`s Black Label was introduced at Winter NAMM 2012 Show in Anaheim, Ca, and it enlists models with four digit price tag quality. A special feature of the line is the low price, as these models were designed with no nonsense philosophy which spends the budget for high quality necessities, rather than cosmetics. Black Label Elise is a semi-hollow bodied model with roots set deeply into the tradition of vintage semi-hollows. It starts off with solid mahogany back and solid maple top. The top is adorned with a pair of "f" holes. Elise comes in ash blonde and tobacco sunburst, both with gloss finish. In the bridge department, a tune-o-matic is paired with a stoptail for the maximum stability. Pickups are humbuckers, and they both come from Wilkinson. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and Vari-Coil knob for coil splitting. Pickup switch is a three-way toggle. The neck is made of mahogany and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays, graphite nut and 12" radius. 24-3/4" scale and Wilkinson tuners end the list. The MSRP for Elise is set around $1,200.
