Standard series` mission is to deliver Fender`s core values and genuine quality with an affordable price tag. This series does not offer anything flashy, extravagant or experimental. No, it`s concentrated on delivering the expected, which is by no means a detriment or a flaw. Quite the opposite, it is the Standard series` main strength and Fender takes great pride in the fact that even sixty years after it was coined, core principle of quality under a reasonable price, still holds. For 2015, Fender is introducing two dual humbucker models into the Standard range and Standard Stratocaster HH is one of them. It comes with a solid and flat Strat body made of alder and C-contoured neck made of maple as the base. There are three color options available for this model - Olympic White, Black and Ghost Silver (the same ones are offered for the Standard Jazzmaster HH, as well). All three are finished in gloss and have black pickguards. Synchronized tremolo bridge with string-through construction is installed behind the pickguard. Encompassed by the pickguard are two zebra-coiled Blacktop humbuckers. Standard controls unit is enriched with a push/pull switch for coil splitting and the three-position switch replaces the classic five-position blade. Rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets is the series staple feature, as Fender still resists the idea to make the 22nd fret an all-round standard (a thing 90% of brands have done decades ago).
