American Standard Stratocaster is the Strat, the first model which springs into mind hen Stratocaster is mentioned. Throughout the years and decades, the basic concept of American Standard series Strat has changed very little, as the winning combination was established long before the regular Stratocaster became the Standard Stratocaster in 1982 and American Standard Stratocaster in 1986. The new American Standard Stratocaster comes in many variants and HH is one of them. As all American Standard Strats, HH comes with a solid and double-cut Strat body made of alder. Flat top, contoured back and a big plastic pickguard on the top are the hallmarks of Strat design. Bridge unit on this new six-stringer is fit with a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with vintage-style stamped steel saddles. Pickups department is what sets this model apart among it`s peers. Instead of the classic S/S/S, H/S/S, and H/S/H variants, this one comes with H/H set of two Twin Head Humbuckers. Standard set of volume and tone knobs is accompanied by a three-position blade switch. Standard maple neck is bolted to the body and fit with a C contour in the back. On it`s top, there is a 22-fret fingerboard made of either maple, or rosewood (depends on the color scheme). The MSRP is set at $1,498.
