Fender Custom Shop is known for some of the finest guitars in the world. Their specialty is the production of vintage-styled guitars, with the production of modern contemporary guitars also being very strong. The best example is 2013 Custom Deluxe Telecaster, which ranks as one of the finest ever made. 2013 Custom Deluxe Tele is a solid, single-cut guitar with flat body made of ash back and flamed maple top. Back side is contoured for comfort and the top is flat. Two-piece flame maple top is bookmatched and finished in high gloss. The rest of the body is also finished in high gloss. This Tele features the classic plastic pickguard. Bridge section is especially made by Research Special Division, it is a variation on the Tele Bridge theme. It has three saddles and string-through construction. It is plated in chrome to match with the rest of the hardware. Pickups on this model are single coils from the Twisted Tele series. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Neck on this model is made of maple, it`s bolted to the body and it features the classic C contour in the back. It`s topped with either a rosewood or maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.
