Telecaster started out way back in 1951 as broadcaster/Nocaster, which was quickly changed into Telecaster. By 1958, Tele has solidified it`s position as the absolute king of electric guitars. Two years earlier, Fender has successfully replaced the swamp ash with alder and remained the number one brand of electric guitars. Time Machine series today pays tribute to all of the legendary Fender models from 1950s and '60s and '58 Heavy Relic Telecaster is one of the brightest examples. It comes with a solid, single-cut alder body and bolted maple neck. Paint and hardware on this model are heavily worn and aged. Classic Tele bridge is installed on the top. Two single-coils with that classic 1950s twang are installed in the front. Maple fingerboard is fit with 21 vintage frets.
