EX is one of the lines reserved for the fans of the iconic Explorer shape. It`s made for players who want an explorer, but want extra juice, extra power and bite. EX series also offers updated Explorer design with sharper edges and more aggressive styling. EX-50 is the basic model of the LTD section of the EX series and it comes with only the basic specs and appointments. Solid and single-cut body of this six-stringer is made of basswood and it`s paired with a bolted maple neck (this is the most standard combo for the basic LTD models made for inexperienced players). ESP installs their own LH-150 humbuckers in the pickups compartment. Maple neck is topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
