Dual humbuckers, and the tap coil gives plenty of tone options. Finish is great. Tuners, not so sure... Great guitar, with lots of features at an entry level price. The pickups are great, but I agree with prior reviewers that two dirty fingers pickups might be too many. The neck is smooth and it plays great right out of the box. The weight is fine and the sustain is good. The best part is the looks. The finish is outstanding, and the gold hardware and ebony fretboard and binding scream quality. The only downside is that the thing doesn't stay in tune well at all. Maybe it is just unlucky hardware or too much string bending, but I seem to be tuning this thing up every ten minutes. It's a great guitar, and the epiphones are getting better all the time. But, it's not quite a Gibson yet. Outstanding value, may be the last guitar that one would ever need to own. So glad I bought it. Even as a backup guitar, its awesome.
