Prophecy Futura Custom EX is a high quality Explorer made by Epiphone. It aims at younger population and players who play modern rock and metal music. Body of this Prophecy Futura features modern Explorer contours and it`s made of basswood base with quilted maple top. Top of this model is also decorated with a black pickguard, which covers the entire lower horn. There`s only one color scheme available for this model and it is Black Cherry with high gloss finish. Bridge section is a classic one, as it features tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. Epiphone provides a pair of EMG`s active humbuckers. 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck, to be exact. Bolted maple neck has slim contour and it`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
