DiPinto is one of the few successful smaller brands on US market. Their range is limited to several series of guitars and basses, among which Galaxie is the most important.
Galaxie 2S is the latest expansion of the series` roster. It follows in its predecessors` footsteps and offers a lighter version of the popular Galaxie 4. Solid and double-cut mahogany body and bolt-on maple neck make up a standard Galaxie chassis. Depending on the color option, 2S features either a rosewood or maple fingerboard. Both options feature 22 frets and dot inlays. The pickups combo is made up of two DiPinto single-coil pickup sin conventional arrangement. Though not as versatile as Galaxie 4, 2S still offers huge possibilities. Other major features include a two-part bridge, die-cast tuners and a big vintage-styled pickguard.
