Dean`s Thoroughbred range is one of the best and finest traditional single-cutaway rock/metal guitars out there. There are two main branches - regular and USA. The USA branch features models made in United States, in Dean`s home facilities. USA Thoroughbred Plain Top Floyd is the latest addition to Thoroughbred`s USA collection, as it was introduced at this year`s NAMM (together with the rest of the Dean novelties). It is currently available only in Vintage Burst (w/gloss finish, aged binding, nickel hardware). Core construction features include a solid mahogany body, plain maple top (aged binding, no pickguard), a C-shaped mahogany neck, 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony (1.6875" locking nut, 24.75" scale, 12" radius), Floyd Rose Original bridge, USA DMT pickups, and Grover tuners.
