Icon series mixes the classic double-cut Les Paul theme with Dean`s authentic styling and tone. The series kicked off recently with the classy Icon Flame Top, a thoroughbred hardtail rocker with stunning quality/price ratio. For 2017 NAMM Dean has prepared the Floyd Rose version, wrapped in Trans Blue Satin top against the black back. Icon Flame Top Floyd starts off with a solid, double-cut mahogany body, two-piece flamed maple top (bound in creme), C-contoured mahogany neck (glued to the body) and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (Icon inlays, jumbo frets, 12" radius, locking 1-11/16" nut, 24-3/4" scale). Major hardware and electronics features include a Floyd Rose 1000 series locking bridge, DMT Series Nostalgia humbuckers (brushed nickel covers) and Grover tuners.
