The Icon concept is another Dean creation steeped in tradition. Classic double-cut design, carved top, dual humbucking pickups, and short 24-3/4" scale form a sturdy, reliable chassis of an all-American guitar. New 2018 Dean Guitars lineup features two new Icon models - Icon Baritone and this one (Icon X Flame Top). The new Icon X class axe will be available in Trans Red and Charcoal Burst (both finished in gloss, equipped with black hardware & plastics). Main construction features include a solid basswood body (w/flame maple top), a C-shaped maple neck (bolt-on joint, smooth finish), a 22-fret jatoba fingerboard (jumbo frets, 1.6875" nut, 12" radius, 24.75" scale), a two-piece hardtail bridge, Dean`s DMT Design humbucking pickups, and sealed die-cast tuners.
