Deluxe series` models sport some of the finest features D`Angelico has to offer. Classic styling, marked by well-known D`Angelico details, innovative electronics and supremely high level of build quality guarantee an unforgettable experience. Deluxe SS, like the rest of the series lineup, is available solely in Matte Midnight with gold-plated hardware. Deluxe SS starts off with a compact single-cut body (15" wide), set in neck (thin C profile) and 22-fret fingerboard. Laminated flamed maple is used for the entire body, while the neck is made of three laminates of maple (two parts) and walnut (one part). The fingerboard is made of rosewood. Two-piece bridge unit, new Seymour Duncan DA-59 humbuckers with six-way switch (certain positions of the pickup switch split the coils) and Grover tuners complete this vintage/modern semi.
