Deluxe is the only major series in currently active incarnation of D`Angelico catalog to feature only electric guitar section. As of January 2017, series roster lists six models, two semi-hollow and four fully hollow models. DH is on the hollow side. It also features Matte Midnight color scheme, gold-plated hardware and Seymour Duncan electronics. Deluxe DH starts off with a compact-sized body, made of laminated flamed maple. Multi-layered binding (back, top), Stairstep pickguard and two "f" holes decorate the body. The neck is made of maple and walnut (two pieces of maple, one piece of walnut) and sports the standard rosewood fingerboard on top (22 frets, block inlays). Seymour Duncan`s DA-59 pickups (DA stands for company`s name), vintage bridge unit and Grover tuners complete this beauty.
