While being substantially cheaper than the exclusive Custom Line model, C2 Angelus is still an expensive guitar (price hovers around $1,500) and it feels and plays as an expensive guitar. C2 is designed and made in Japan, in Caparison`s home facilities. C2 Series - ANG - E rocks a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany base and solid maple cap. Glossy black paint, with creme binding and black chrome hardware, is the only available color option. The neck is made of three pieces of maple, sporting the standard ANG back profile. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with large dot inlays and 1.65" nut tops the neck. EMG`s 81 (bridge) and 85 (neck) pickups guarantee first class metal sound. Other important features include jumbo-sized frets, two-piece bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
