VMB-55 is one of several electric basses made by Wilson Brothers. This brand is focused on the production of intermediate electric guitars, while offering only several models of electric basses. Basses from Wilson brothers are, though few in numbers, very good for the lower intermediate and intermediate classes in which they compete on the market. VMB-55 is one of four currently active bass models in Wilson Brothers catalog. It comes with a solid, double-cut body with flat-top design and bolt-on neck joint construction. Wilson offers this vintage-styled four-stringer in Black, White, Red and Blue color schemes. All four options are finished in gloss and have a big white pickguard. Two single-coils comprise the pickups unit. Bolted maple neck is topped with a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
