Troy Sanders of Mastodon is among the best and most influential metal bass players around. He also uses a wide range of instruments, including Warwick, Fender, Squier and Yamaha. Though Fender models dominate the roster, the only Squier - Troy Sanders Jaguar Bass can hold its ground against the expensive rivals. Troy Sanders Jaguar Bass comes with a solid, Jaguar-shaped body made of basswood and a bolt-on neck made of maple. This is, along with the agathis/maple, the most common tonewood combo in Squier`s bass section. The neck is equipped with the modern C contour in the back and topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Pickups section rocks one of the most iconic combos - the legendary J/P. This time, the bridge (J) position is occupied by the Standard Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickup and the middle (P) position by a Standard Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup.
