In recent years, Schecter has been expanding the roster of signature artists and 2017 lineup welcomes several new faces. King Ov Hell is one of them, being represented with one instrument, the five-stringed bass named Mephisto King Ov Hell. It is a double-cut bass, with neck-through-body construction, all-black styling (meaning paint job, plastics and hardware) and active electronics. The uncompromisingly metal-oriented Mephisto starts off with a pair of solid ash wings, through-body maple neck (three-piece construction, carbon fiber reinforcement rods, thin C profile) and 22-fret ebony fingerboard (XJ frets, Gothic Cross inlays, custom designed 12th fret inlay, 1.77" TUSQ nut, 16" radius). Other important appointments include a Schecter hardtail bridge (string-through or top-load), EMGMM5HZ/40HZ set of humbuckers and Grover tuners.
