4001 C64 is a model from the 4000 series of solid-bodied electric basses made by Rickenbacker. This is a re-issue of the legendary 4001 model, which was active between 1961 and 1981, hen it was replaced by a very similar 4003 model. Anyhow, 4001 is back and it is ready to rock harder than ever. 4001 C64 comes with a solid and double-cut body made of maple wings, which are glued onto the maple neck(the standard 4000 series construction). Standard selection of Rickenbacker`s color options is available for this model. On the top, there is a vintage Rickenbacker bridge with four saddles and chrome plating. Huge bridge humbucker is paired with a minibucker in the neck position. 20-fret fingerboard on the neck is made of rosewood.
