Sterling line of electric basses has been around for almost a quarter of a century - since 1993 - and it proved to be an irreplaceable part of the Music Man`s catalog. Its smaller body, fast neck, and big tone have made it a catalog fixture and modern classic.
The currently available incarnation of the Sterling series has two models - one four-stringer and the other five-stringer. Sterling Bass is the four-string variant. It is available in a host of color options, with maple and rosewood fingerboard options, as well as chrome and black-plated hardware.
Specs list highlights include a solid and double-cut ash body (w/characteristic pickguard on top), bolt-on maple neck (C profile), 22-fret fingerboard, a hardtail bridge, Music Man electronics (several pickup and controls configurations are available), and Schaller tuners.
