Sterling series is one of the classic Music Man lines, along with the Stingray. These two series have defined rock music as much as any Gibson and Fender bass has ever done. Sterlings and Stingrays come with vintage design and traditional construction. Current lineup of the Sterling series consists of several four and five-string models and even one dedicated fretless four-stringer. Sterling is a four-stringed bass with bolt-on construction, 34" scale, classic electronics and decorations. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and made of series standard ash. On it`s top, there is a four-saddled bridge with chrome plating. In the front, there are two full-sized pickups in H/S configuration. Maple neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard. Maple and rosewood fingerboards are both available.
