The Element series is Michael Kelly`s only currently active series of solid-bodied electric basses. Its ranks are made up of two four-stringers and two five-stringers (all with classic Jazz Bass design). Custom Collection Element 5 rolls in with a selection of three exotic tops - maple burl, striped ebony and zebrawood. All three options feature gloss finish and black hardware. Core construction features include a solid alder body base (tummy cut), exotic top (two-piece construction, classic pickguard), maple neck (C profile, bolt-on construction, 3+2 headstock with burl maple veneer), rosewood fingerboard (21 frets, dot inlays, 9.5" radius, 1.77" wide bone string nut, 34" scale). Important hardware and electronics appointments include a string-through hardtail bridge, die-cast tuners, and single-coiled Rockfield pickups.
