Laguna is one of the smaller brands on the American market and it`s concentrated on the intermediate segment. It offers several very good electric guitar and electric bass alternatives for players who are tired of the same old brands with same old models. One of two electric basses in their current lineup is the modern LB524SM, a solid and double-cut bass with flat-top design. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and spalted maple top. It`s paired with a smooth and slim five-piece maple neck. On the top of the body, LB524SM features a standard five-saddled hardtail bridge and a pair of full-sized humbucking pickups. Maple neck on this five-stringer is topped with a series-standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
