Vader is the only range in Kiesel catalog to feature models in both guitar and bass segments. The bass side is, however, constricted to the standard-scaled models, though they do come in 4, 5 and 6-string variants. Neck-through-body construction, headless design and passive electronics are the main features of the Vader range. VB4 is the starter Vader model, a four-stringer with 34" scale. Basic specs list includes following tonewoods: alder on the wings, maple on the neck and ebony on the fingerboard. Alternatively, players who desire so, can order their own combination (Kiesel offers a wide range of alternative tonewoods). Also, hardware, electronics, inlays and finishes can be customized. Stock hardware and electronics features include a Hipshot bridge w/fine tuners in the tail and Kiesel Radium pickups.
