JB series combines the classic looks of the legendary Jazz Bass and modern construction, design and electronics of contemporary Kiesel guitars. The series` lineup consists of two models, four-stringed JB4 and five-stringed JB5. Both have bolt-on necks, flat-top bodies with vintage pickguards and 22-fret fingerboards. The starting specs list for JB5 includes a solid alder body, all-maple neck and a 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony. If a player desires so, numerous body, top, neck and fingerboard options at their disposal. Additionally, Kiesel offers a multitude of hardware, electronics, color and inlay alternatives. The basic JB5 also features a five-saddled Carvin bridge (adjustable lockdown saddles, string-through construction), hybrid JVA single-coil pickups (active/passive construction) and Carvin tuning machines. All hardware appointments are plated in chrome.
