David Ellefson of Megadeth is Jackson`s most prominent signature bass artist. He`s been with the brand for years now, and his Kelly and Concert models have competed in JS, X and USA ranges. For 2016 season, David and Jackson Guitars have come up with a quartet of new models. All are made in the classic Concert Bass shape and are divided into two ranks. The upper one features two USA Signature models, while the lower one belongs to the X range. X Series Signature David Ellefson CBX IV is the nade of the affordable four-string version. X Series Signature David Ellefson CBX IV kicks off with a solid, double-cut body made entirely of basswood (that`s the standard across the X series roster) and a bolt-on maple neck (one-piece neck). The neck is equipped with a speed profile in the back and a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (jumbo frets, Sharkfin inlays, 1-5/8" plastic unt and compound 12"-16" radius). Pickups section boasts a pair of EMG`s HS-35 humbuckers which provide enough firepower to cut through any mix out there. Master volume, pickup balance knob and a three-band EQ form the controls. Jackson`s own Hi Mass bridge and die-cast tuners keep this bad boy in perfect tune and intonation.
