With roots set deep in the 80`s, Concert Bass is one of the pillars of Jackson catalog. It was, and still is, one of the most popular choices among metal bass players. It is a classic/modern bass, with a timeless double-cut body, slim neck and 24-fret fingerboard. Four and five-string variants exist in the catalog. For 2016, Jackson has prepared a pair of X series Concert models, one with four and one with five strings. X Series Concert Bass CBXNT IV is the four-string variant. It is available in Black, Metallic Blue and Transparent Red and costs around $1,000. X Series Concert Bass CBXNT IV kicks off with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood wings and maple neck in the middle. Transparent Red variant also has a flamed maple top. The neck rocks the famous Speed profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingferboard on top (1.625" plastic nut, Sharkfin inlays, compound 12"-16" radius). A set of passive Jackosn High Output humbuckers is featured in the electronics unit. These bad boys are made for metal and that`s what they play best. Volume, balance, bass, mid and treble knobs comprise the controls unit. Jackson Hi Mass bridge and die-cast tuners (also Jackson) complete the specs list.
