SR370 is a variant line of the basic SR300 tier of the standard SR series. Its main feature is the alternative tonewood choice, with hardware, electronics, construction and design being identical to the "regular" 300 models. Currently, there are four SR370 models, two fretted and two fretless (the most affordable fretless SR basses in standard section of the catalog). SR370E model is a four-stringed bass with full 34" scale, bolt-on construction. passive Ibanez electronics and Cosmo Black hardware. There are two options in the color palette - Sapphire Blue and Aged Whiskey Burst. Both are finished in gloss.
SR370E comes with a solid and double-cut maple body and a five-piece maple/rosewood neck. These two are connected through a standard four-bolt joint and are flawlessly balanced. The SR-shaped neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with medium frets, dot inlays and 1.50" string nut. The radius measures standard 12".
Electronics department follows the SR300 nd 400 conventions, featuring two PowerSpan humbuckers and a standard controls unit. Versatile and easily morphable tone is the hallmark of this setup. Accu-cast B300 hardtail bridge and die-cast tuning machines offer great tuning and intonation stability.
