SR series (Sound Gear is its full name) is Ibanez`s main bass series and the backbone of the entire electric bass range. It was introduced back in 1987 and has grown into a giant and one of the most popular bass series in the world. SR30th5PII is a limited edition model made in honor of SR series` 30th anniversary. It belongs to the Premium class and offers a semi-hollow body, bolt-on neck, golden hardware, top-shelf electronics, and super elegant styling. Florid Natural Low Gloss is the name of the only available color option. Main construction features include mahogany/ash body base, lacewood top, 5-piece wenge/bubinga neck, and 24-fret wenge fingerboard. Other notable features include a Monorail bridge, die-cast tuners, and Nordstrand`s Big Single pickups.
