Sound Gear series appeared on the market more than 25 years ago. Right from the start, it made a blueprint for all modern bass guitars. It was one of the first series to incorporate super fast necks, deep cutaways and 24-fret fingerboards on intermediate and lower intermediate class instruments. Soon, other brands followed the suit. Today, in 2016, SR is going stronger than ever and new SR models are raising the bar even further. SR305EB is a brand new five-stringed bass guitar which will compete in the overcrowded lower intermediate class. It rocks bolt-on construction, classic SR design, supreme stability and playability, as well as Ibanez electronics & hardware. SR305EB has a modern double-cut body with a contoured top and super deep lower cutaway. It is made of mahogany and it`s paired with a five-piece maple/rosewood neck with fast and sleek SR-5 profile. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top of the neck is equipped with medium frets, 1/77" nut and 12" radius. Ibanez PowerSpan humbuckers are the standard SR pickups and SR305EB is no exception. Extended controls unit can get a huge array of tones and styles out of these bad boys. Accu-Cast B125 bridge and die-cast tuners keep it nice and tight in the tuning stability area.
