MDB3 is an electric bass guitar made for Mike D` Antonio from Killswitch Engage. It is his third signature model with Ibanez and it looks even hotter and meaner than the previous two. It comes with a solid, Explorer-like body made of mahogany. Mahogany construction in combination with 34" scale and super strong pickup in the middle guarantees for a gut-wrenching tone worthy of the Killswitch Engage. Body of this model is flat on the top and bound in white binding around the edges. Black with high gloss finish is the only color scheme available for this model. Bridge section features Accu-cast B-200 bridge with chrome plating over it. There`s only one P-pickup in the middle position. It is made by Seymour Duncan and features only a volume knob. Neck on this model is made of three pieces of maple and it features the special MDB contour in the back. On the top of the neck Ibanez installs a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
