Guild`s Starfire series is currently made up of five guitars and two basses, all of which belong to the Newark St. Collection. Both Starfire basses are four-stringed and semi-hollow, as well as short-scaled (30-3/4"). Starfire Bass II comes in at $1,800 and offers a semi-hollow body, glued-in neck, Guild/Grover combined hardware, and Guild electronics. The color palette is made up of four vibrant options: Emerald Green, Cherry Red, Black, and Natural. All four options have gloss finish, ABS binding, and nickel hardware. Core construction features include a mahogany body (arched back & top), 3-piece mahogany/maple/mahogany neck, and 12-fret fingerboard made of Indian rosewood. Guild`s BS-1 humbuckers, adjustable Guild bridge (w/wooden saddles), and Grover Vintage tuners complete the Starfire Bass II.
