Cabronita models are based upon the regular models from the Fender catalog. They take the form of Telecaster, Strat, Precision and others and with special treatment, special pieces of hardware, Cabronita models achieve that raw and dirty tone they`re famous and loved for. Cabronita is not a new concept, but it is being revitalized for the second decade of the 21st century. Today, Cabronita tags can be found all across the catalog, including several Teles, Strats, Precisions and others. For 2013, Fender has introduced several new models into this series and Cabronita Precision is one of them. It comes with a flat, double-cut body made of alder. Simple and vintage-styled body reminds of the early Precisions made in 1950s. Color palette includes Candy Apple Red, Black and 2-Color Sunburst. All three have glossy finish and nickel/chrome hardware. Bridge is a classic four-saddled high mass bridge with top load construction. There`s only one pickup on this model, the middle-positioned FideliTron humbucker. Master volume and master tone knobs accompany it. Bolt-on maple neck features C contour in the back and a 20-fret maple fingerboard on top. Black dot inlays, 9.50" radius and 1-5/8" synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard. Tuners on the headstock are made by Fender.
