Dean`s 2018 lineup will feature a pair of new Edge models, one four-stringer and one six-stringer. The four-stringer`s name is Edge 4 Flame Maple Fretless. The newcomer was unveiled in Trans Black Satin (which will remain its only color option in foreseeable future). The MSRP is set at $1,199.00. Main construction features include a solid mahogany body (w/flamed maple top, black binding, contoured top), a maple neck (C profile, bolt-on joint), a fretless pau ferro fingerboard (side dot inlays, 1.5" nut, 34" scale), a hardtail bridge, DMT Series soapbar pickups, and die-cast tuners.
