SR Standard series begins with the 300 models and ends with 800s. Above that, that`s the SR Premium series` territory. Standard models are the backbone of the SR range and the entire electric bass section of Ibanez catalog. They`re mostly made for non-professional use, though the models from the upper echelons can be used for smaller gigs and recording sessions without any problems. SR870 is the new king of four strings in SR Standard series` lineup. It is available in Autumn Leaf Gradation and Deep Twilight Flat. Main construction features include a solid and double-cut mahogany body (w/flame maple/walnut top), a five-piece jatoba/walnut neck, a 24-fret fingerboard made of jatoba, a hardtail Accu-Cast B500 bridge, Bartolini`s BH2 soapbars, and die-cast tuners.
