The famous Edge Bass has been around for full 40 years (as it was introduced back in 1977). It is Dean`s premier bolt-on bass and it`s made in a multitude of variants. Seven new models, including the mighty Edge 2 5-String, have been introduced into the series at 2017 NAMM.
Edge 2 5-String is, like the rest of the Edge range, a straightforward instrument with excellent construction and big, bold tone. Solid and offset basswood body, C-shaped maple neck (with bolt-on construction) and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (with 34" scale, 1-3/4" PPS nut and 16" radius) make up the base of this mighty five-stringer.
Major hardware and electronics features include a hardtail bridge, DMT Design pickups and sealed machine heads.
